A multidisciplinary body of work that includes performance, image, video, and artifacts

no i no me no mine has become an aspirational reminder that helps to describe concepts of egolessness and the dissolution of the self. I find the phrase gains relevance in many contexts - from current demands for social justice, to mutual aid in the pandemic age, to the deeply varied contours of inner worlds. This body of work incorporates several material iterations including performative gesture as witnessed by the camera, stop motion video that removes evidence of self, and the use of a typewriter to replace the artist’s hand. Each process utilizes repetition, accumulation, and non-attachment to create parallels between mind and body.
