Erin Elyse Burns

holds an MFA in Photomedia from the University of Washington and a BFA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is an Associate Professor at Cornish College of the Arts.

Her work has been exhibited at Jack Straw Cultural Center, the Tucson Museum of Art, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Henry Art Gallery, and the Nevada Museum of Art, Reno. Recent artist residencies include Vermont Studio Center and the Westfjords Residency in northern Iceland. She has received grants from 4Culture, the Office of Arts & Culture, Seattle, The New Foundation Seattle, and was a Fulbright Arts Finalist.
