Erin Elyse Burns was raised in Reno, Nevada and has learned to feel pleasantly comfortable identifying with the Wild West. Since she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2004, she has lived and worked in Basel, Switzerland; Berlin, Germany; and currently resides in Seattle, Washington where she completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts at the University of Washington, Seattle in June of 2009.
